As the ANZAC Day march turns from Martin Place into George Street there is great excitement in the crowd, expressed in the faces of these returned service women.
The march can lead to expressions of great emotion, of happiness, joy and an outpouring of the Aussie spirit…but it can also be a very sad and emotional experience as many remember lost friends and comrades.
