Harriet and Alexander proudly support their Dad on ANZAC Day. Their Dad served in the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) for 11 years between 1994 and 2005 and in the 1st Commando Regiment from 1990 to 1994. He served in Afghanistan, East Timor, Bougainville, the Middle East and the Solomon Islands.
On ANZAC Day Harriet and Alexander’s Dad says it is, “a time to reflect and remember those who’ve served, our military heritage and our country.”
Harriet and Alexander think that ANZAC Day was fun because “we got to march down George Street with all the crowds because dad was an Army Soldier but also think it is a sad day because of all the Australian Soldiers who have died in the wars for us”.
